Trauma is sadly a common human experience when people suffer tragic events such as motor vehicle accidents, first responders to life threatening incidents, early abuse and so forth. Jennifer offers many years of experience and training in helping people recover from the effects of trauma.  She recently updated her training through the Canadian Traumatology Institute and maintains ongoing training in this area to provide up to date interventions for trauma recovery. Healing from trauma is a three stage process involving teaching skills to help a person regain calmness and stability in their body, dealing with the impact of the trauma and finally resolving what the traumatic events mean to a person and how will they move forward to a healthy life.
